The Ann Dunning Memorial Cup 2022

On Saturday March 26th, Fr Murphy’s Ladies Football team had their first competitive outing of the the 2022 season by participating in the Ann Dunning Memorial Cup tournament. The tournament was set up by Holloway Gaels Ladies Football Club over 10 years ago to honour the memory of Holloway Gaels founder member Ann Dunning.

Fr Murphy’s had a great showing at tournament, winning all their group games, before being narrowly beaten by Holloway A team in the final. Final score Holloway 2-5 – 2-3 Fr Murphy’s.

A huge thank you to all the Holloway Gaels and Shamrocks members who contributed to the smooth running of the tournament.

Fr Murphy’s Ladies Gaelic Football and Camogie Club are now recruiting for our football and camogie teams for the 2022 season.
